Frettens' expanding commercial department welcomed back a familiar face last week. Associate Sarah Sillar has returned to the firm after a short career break.
Sarah is an experienced Corporate & Commercial associate with a fantastic reputation. She specialises in IP Law, and works with businesses to help identify and protect their intellectual property.
Sarah on her new (old) role:
Sarah said: “This is an exciting time to be re-joining Frettens as they continue to expand their operations. Frettens is a great employer to work for and I am looking forward to being a part of their growing success.
I received such a warm welcome on my return and while there are a lot of new faces, the place still feels the same – it’s like I never left.”
Managing Partner, Matthew Fretten on Sarah’s arrival:
Matthew said: “We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome back Sarah to the Corporate and Commercial team. Her experience and skills, together with her expertise in IP matters, will be invaluable to our clients as we continue to grow and expand the team. Great news!”
Sarah will work alongside Matthew, as well as Karen Edwards, and Tara Jones in our Corporate & Commercial team.
She will also work closely with our growing established Commercial Property, Dispute, Employment and Insolvency teams to improve our already-strong commercial law offering.
You can view our Intellectual Property service page here.
A very exciting year
In what promises to be one of the most exciting years in the firm’s history, Sarah is the tenth new face to join Frettens since January.
The year started with the acquisition of an additional office in Ringwood, which has since been refitted and opened, and the new website was launched at the start of June.
We are currently advertising for 6 other positions, but are interested in talking to any bright legal professionals who want to work in a flexible, bright, ambitious and fun team.
If you would like to talk with someone about what is on offer and potentially joining our team, you can speak with Catharine Snow, Operations Manager here.
