On Thursday 9th February we held our very first BCP Young Professionals networking event, in collaboration with Vail Williams.
It was held at Boom Battle Bar in Bournemouth, with axe throwing being the main activity of the evening.
With over 50 young professionals from Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole in attendance to eat, drink and network, it’s safe to say that it was a major success!
That success can be attributed to the efforts of a collaboration between our Marketing Team, Ben Cobb of our Commercial Department, as well as Ben Duly and Bryony Solan of Vail Williams, who all did a fantastic job in launching the initiative and organising the event.
About BCP Young Professionals
BCP Young Professionals is a newly-launched networking group for people who work in professional services in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and are under 35 (ish!).
The aim of the group is to connect young people in the area, who may not otherwise get the opportunity to meet, and build new relationships.
Lewis on a successful occasion
Lewis said: “I am so pleased that our first BCP Young Professionals event was a success and that everyone enjoyed the opportunity to meet up!
Get-togethers for young people in the industry, like this one, are so important, and encourage people to share stories, discuss their experiences and gain new business relations.
Thank you to everyone who attended for your support, and thanks to Ben and Bryony for their help in setting everything up. We can’t wait to put on more of these events in the future!”
Bryony on ‘the first of many’
Bryony Solan, Associate at Vail Williams commented; “Vail Williams opened their Bournemouth office in 2021 and, after attending various local networking events, we identified the need for a networking group focused on the younger generation who may not get invited to networking events.
Ultimately, we are the future generation of business leaders within the area and Vail Williams were keen to launch an initiative of this nature.
We were delighted that Frettens shared our views and were keen to work with us jointly in launching the networking group. We are excited to see this group develop alongside its members.”
