In this article, Commercial Property Specialist Charlie Bennett discusses how Heads of Terms work, whether they’re legally binding and what to look out for when negotiating.
Zoe Burcombe
Zoe is on her third seat as a Trainee Solicitor in the Family team.
Work
During Zoe's Psychology degree she did her placement year as a Litigation Paralegal at a London law firm. This role sparked Zoe's interest for law and after she finished her Psychology degree she decided to complete the GDL. After this, she worked as a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal at a local law firm where she built up her own caseload. This has led Zoe to becoming a Conveyancing Paralegal assisting Clare Hallett.
In September 2023, Zoe moved onto the second year of Frettens' Graduate Scheme where she continued in the Conveyancing team. In March 2024 she moved to her second seat in the Dispute Resolution team and, in September, she moved to our Family department in Ringwood.
Play
Outside of work Zoe enjoys running, going to the gym and playing Netball. She also loves socialising with friends, going on as many holidays as possible (when work and finances permit) and spending as much time as she can at the beach.
