Nick Turner
Nick is a solicitor who is also qualified, but does not practise as, a financial adviser. Nick is a member and former Chairman of the Central Southern Branch, of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners, an Accredited Lifetime Lawyer, and a member of the Personal Finance Society.
Nick qualified in 1984 and has worked on private client matters ever since. He was a Partner and Head of Department in a large Southampton firm with oversight of many trusts before reaching their retirement age. Full retirement was not for him so he joined Frettens to continue his involvement in matters private client and now works with the Ringwood Wills & Tax Team.
Nick specialises in Tax and Trusts and general private client matters, so advises on tax planning, creates trusts, drafts wills and advises all areas of private client work. He thoroughly enjoys helping people to save tax and assisting others through planning, trusts, and wills.
Nick is a keen rugby and cricket spectator and fits this in around walking the family’s two chocolate Labradors – it was one until the family re-homed another. Nick used to enjoy a little gardening, but with two Labrador helpers, gardening is curtailed now!
