Nathan Andrews

Head of HR Services

Nathan is our Head of HR Services based in Christchurch with over 18 years of people management experience.

Work

Nathan joined Frettens in July 2024 as Head of HR Services after spending 7½ years at his own consultancy firm that specialised in Employment Investigations and Workplace Mediation.

Prior to this, Nathan served as an in-house HR Manager and HR Director.  He has developed his skills working across multiple sectors, including the NHS, professional services, retail, food manufacturing, hospitality, health and social care, and engineering.

Nathan is a CIPD Level 7 qualified People Management Specialist, with a deep understanding of UK employment law and regulations which complements his strong project management skills and his ability to implement change effectively.  Nathan’s approach is comprehensive, balancing legal compliance with the employee experience and commercial objectives to provide practical, well-rounded employment advice.

In addition, Nathan can provide advice on Employee Relations and HR practices across the full employee lifecycle, working closely with our Employment lawyers, ensuring that all practices align with UK legal standards and contribute to a positive, engaging work environment.

Play

When not at work, Nathan enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family. Weekends are often spent at the stables with his niece, who proudly calls him her favourite uncle (according to Nathan, that is). When time and weather permit, you can find him either relaxing in the garden with a glass of wine and a good book or in the kitchen cooking and entertaining.
