Clare Hallett

Clare has been Head of Frettens’ busy and highly-regarded Conveyancing Team since 2016. As a partner, she also takes a lead role in the firm’s IT strategy. Her experience has been recognised in the 2022 and 2023 Legal 500, the independent guide to law firms in the UK.

Work

Clare trained at Frettens and qualified as a Commercial Property Solicitor in 2005. In 2016 Clare became a Partner and took over as Head of the Residential Property team.

Her expertise spans all types of property work. She has vast experience working with property developers, assisting them in acquisitions and plot sales, which is also invaluable when acting for a buyer of a new build home. She also deals with complex properties or situations and advises on multiple dwellings relief.

Clare tends to spend a little less time ‘at the coal face’ these days but still really enjoys communicating with clients and gets a buzz from her job every day.  She is assisted by Paralegal Jade Baker.

She is also passionate about IT and how it can be utilised to improve clients’ experience, an important factor in the recent success of Frettens’ Residential Property Team.

Play

Clare enjoys living in the New Forest with her family, and can often be found walking, cycling or running in some of the lovely areas of the Forest.

Good Food is another favourite pastime and eating out is one of Clare's much loved treats!
