Frettens Solicitors have announced dramatic growth in 2018 and have further plans to expand, despite the uncertainty surrounding the impact of current Brexit negotiations.
Having opened a brand new office in the heart of Ringwood on 2nd July 2018, the firm has recently employed a further 12 members of staff – with an additional five new members of staff in the pipeline – announcing that the business has no signs of slowing down.
The firm's Managing Partner, Matthew Fretten, says “Our significant growth is largely due to the extremely active business community, the majority of which are as productive as ever. This shows just how ambitious and entrepreneurial we are as a nation, and a region. I believe that this leadership and tenacity in the face of Brexit will be a significant factor in the region’s continued growth and success."
The firm’s key growth areas have been in corporate, commercial property and litigation, which is a great indication of the business community’s ongoing activity. Describing the sector as ‘thriving’, the firm’s growth in these areas has given them great confidence in the market, and a strengthened belief in their own offering and brand.
Matthew says, “This year has been our best year for over a decade. Having reached our targeted turnover and profit levels, we have deliberately made the choice to grow. This continues despite the uncertainties surrounding Brexit. We believe in our service and our brand; the opening of our Ringwood branch is testament to that.”
The sentiment, it seems, is that despite fears, there’s optimism, and where there’s uncertainty, there’s opportunity.
