We are delighted to share the news that Frettens Solicitors has appointed a charity of the year for it's Ringwood office. For 2018, the Ringwood team will be supporting The Churchill Foundation.
Churchill Retirement Living is well known for its charitable work, be it from Clinton McCarthy shaving his head for charity to company-wide fundraisers like Macmillan Coffee mornings. Giving something back is a fundamental part of what the company believes in.
In 2015, Churchill Retirement Living took the decision to set up The Churchill Foundation, to better what they already do for charity.
This enabled them to focus on supporting local communities where they build, as well as national charities.
The Churchill Foundation aims to transform people’s lives through investment in three key areas:
Frettens are pleased to be a business partner for The Churchill Foundation and to see their works impacting on the local community in Ringwood.
Michelle Hayter, Partner of the firm and Head of Dispute Resolution and the Ringwood Team, says “We are pleased to be supporting The Churchill Foundation this year as we have an exciting 40th birthday event coming up and we wanted to support two charities close to the hearts of the teams in both offices. The foundation shares our belief in giving something back to the local communities where they are based and we are delighted to support them as we make our mark in Ringwood, bringing our brand of modern, proactive legal services to this vibrant town surrounding areas.”
For 2018, our Christchurch office will be supporting SPRING and our Ringwood office will be supporting The Churchill Foundation.Every year, Frettens staff vote for a charity to support. In the past, we have sponsored charities such as Julia's House, Willow Foundation, Autism Wessex, Macmillan, Isobel Baker Foundation and many others.
SPRING was established in 1998 to provide support to parents and relatives who have experienced the death of a baby during pregnancy, at, or just after birth. This includes miscarriage, stillbirth and termination for foetal abnormality. Over the years SPRING has evolved to help many families and friends through such devastating times.
In July 2018, Frettens opened a new office in a prime location in Ringwood. Situated on the junction between the High Street and Christchurch Road, this new presence introduces a full service law firm to Ringwood, and marks the start of an exciting relationship between Frettens and the town’s thriving business community.
Frettens Solicitors offices in Christchurch and Ringwood are full of enthusiastic people with personality and strong experience who provide a full range of specialised legal services to private and business clients. Our teams also cover Bournemouth, Poole and the New Forest.
