We are delighted to welcome Warren Haskins as our guest speaker for the April 2016 event. The name Haskins was first connected with Dorset horticulture in 1882 when Harry Haskins founded a nursery in Poole.
Internationally known for its innovative and inventive approach to garden retailing, Haskins now operates 4 of the largest destination garden centres in the country.
Warren, Harry Haskins' great grandson, took over the nursery business at the age of 20. He is now Chairman of Haskins Garden Centres and very much involved in developing the business. Warren will be sharing some significant milestones in the success of the business.
If you run a family business and would be interested in attending, please let us know. Our events are free to attend and guests are welcomed (either from your own family business or Directors from another family business). Please register to ensure that we cater appropriately.
The Family Business Club Objective:
The objective of our club is to create a confidential forum for family businesses, to hear from other successful family business leaders and to discuss issues and challenges specific to the family business. As hosts, we are passionate about family businesses and our role is to organise the meetings and to act as a sounding board for attendees, providing support and guidance at every step of the development of a family business.
