Annual Employment Seminar

The ABC of 2011 - 1 November 2011

A is for Agency Workers
The Agency Workers Regulations 2010 take effect on 1 October 2011, entitling temporary agency workers to a limited form of “equal treatment” after completion of a qualifying period.

B is for Bribery Act
The Bribery Act 2010 took effect on 1 July 2011. Replacing existing outdated and inadequate legislation, the Bribery Act creates several offences, including a corporate offence carrying an unlimited fine. We will focus on the impact on businesses.

C is for Company Pensions
In the biggest shake up to the pension regime in years, Auto-Enrolment will be phased in from October 2012. All employers with at least one employee will be affected, with significant cost implications. We will
outline the new duties for employers and explain ways to minimise
                                                          the potential impact.

Kate Fretten and Paul Burton from the Frettens Employment Team will be joined at this year's seminar by John Cooper, from Heritage Investments in Christchurch. The seminar is free to attend, please register using the Register now button on the left.
