HR Forum - November 2010 (later session)

Equality Act - 24th November

At our November Forum, we will review the new Equality Act, which was finally published 3 weeks ago. The majority of the provisions of the Act came into force on 1st October, so it is important for all local employers to know exactly what has changed to ensure that their policies are current and to consider what additional training may be required for their management staff.

Our quarterly HR Forums are aimed at those managing HR issues. They provide an excellent opportunity for HR professionals to meet, share ideas and discuss employment issues, as well as socialise with contemporaries. Our Team, Kate Fretten, Paul Burton and Karen Worth, open the Forums with an overview of the legal aspects of the topic and then allow the discussion to develop.
