Frettens Solicitors and The Captains Club Hotel are delighted to be co-sponsoring the inaugural “Food Festival Great Christchurch Bake Day and Fete”, part of the Christchurch Food Festival.
It promises to be a great family fun day on Christchurch Quay and takes place on Saturday 19th May 2012 from 10.00am. Taking its initiative from the very successful BBC television series “The Great British Bake Off” the day will be hosted by the 2011 series winner Jo Wheatley. Mary Reader, Festival President, will join Jo Wheatley to judge the baking competition.
The event will include a vintage tea room, a “pop-up” Champagne Bar and Captain’s Club restaurant. The Quomps will also host a selection of artisan trade stalls and the “Fretten’s fete” arena for families, with everything from a tea cup ride and a helter skelter to colouring and cake decorating competitions!
