Malky Chaloner and Amy Leung have joined Frettens’ New Forest Offices, expanding the Wills & Tax and Conveyancing Teams.

Malky is a solicitor in the Wills & Tax Team, working in both the Brockenhurst and New Milton offices during each week. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is able advise clients on all aspects of wills, powers of attorney and succession, this includes the creation, administration and termination of all types of trusts and estate administration. Malky is originally from Colombia, she has lived in the UK for 16 years and joins Frettens from a firm on the Isle of Wight.

Amy has joined Frettens’ New Milton Conveyancing Department to expand the team working under Partner David Walton to help meet increasing demand from clients who wish to move house. She deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases and remortgages from initial instruction to completion and registration. Amy is registered as a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and has completed the Legal Practice Course. She will qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive once she has gained three years of qualifying employment.

Partner and head of the Wills & Tax Team, Lee Young, says “Malky is an excellent solicitor and a capable and approachable adviser so I am confident that she will be great addition to our team. Likewise, Amy has a very friendly approach with clients and is a welcome addition to the New Milton office as we continue to experience significant growth within the Conveyancing Department this year, with several prominent estate agents referring clients to us. The firm as a whole is experiencing a period of steady growth and we have needed to recruit to manage the increasing volumes of work. This is particularly positive and Frettens is looking forward to a busy conclusion to the year.”
